Museum De Waag is part of Deventer Verhaal. Deventer Verhaal is Deventer's heritage partner. Since 2014, they have been committed to the visibility, appreciation and preservation of municipal heritage.

Their mission is to share the rich history of the beautiful Hanseatic city of Deventer with a wide audience. They do this with a varied and attractive programme of exhibitions and activities in Museum De Waag and Toy Museum Deventer but also at other locations in the city and surrounding villages.

As an independent and connecting heritage partner, they also work closely with other Deventer organisations and organise various events such as Open Monument Day, Cellarfest and Night of Gold every year.
