  On the following public holidays, the museum is open from 11am to 5pm: Liberation Day, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday and Christmas Day.

  The museum is closed on Easter Sunday, King's Day, Whit Sunday, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. On 5, 24 and 31 December, the museum closes at 16:00.

• Accessibility

  By train
  Main exit of Deventer Central Station. Cross the footbridge and walk straight ahead into Keizerstraat. At the end of the street, turn left onto the Brink towards the free-standing weighing house that houses Museum De Waag.

  By car
  From the A1 motorway, follow the signs towards the city centre. Go via Deventerweg, Zutphenseweg and Pothoofd to the Brink. You will then enter the city centre along the river IJssel. From here, it is about a 150-metre walk to Museum De Waag.
