About the exhibition
The exhibition displays a rich collection of silver, bronze and pewter objects, from utensils to masterpieces by craftsmen. We also provide insight into the techniques and innovations that have shaped these crafts over the centuries. We also zoom in on some typical Deventer craft families such as Wegewart, Schimmel and the silversmiths Luycksen.

In addition to historical objects, the exhibition includes interactive elements such as sensory stimulation, demonstrations by contemporary craftsmen and multimedia presentations. It also focuses on the social and economic impact of these crafts on the city and its inhabitants.

The exhibition was made possible by Deventer municipality, Overijssel Culture Fund and Wesselings-Van Breemen Foundation.
